MINOR SURGERY

I didn't blog yesterday as I was quite incapacitated.

It was a rather personal matter and I wasn't going to mention it. However, Lisa found it hilarious and insisted I report this.

It seems I had overexerted myself during the weekend and developed a incredibly painful blood clot in an exceptionally sensitive area.

Light out-patient surgery was required. It involved an excruciatingly painful injection of anesthetic into an area that should never - never ever!! - have a needle shoved into it. That was followed by about 15 minutes of having a laser beam shot up my arse.

I had never before considered how I may react to having a freakin' laser up my bum... but now I know.

I shut my eyes tightly and loudly hummed the Imperial Death March from Star Wars.

I spent today recuperating, lying on my chest reading X-Men comics.
