NOT JUST SCARY

The Liberals don't just want Canadians to think the Conservatives are scary. From Saturday's Globe:

Either way, the hardest-fought federal election since 1988 was bound to be ugly from the outset. Weeks before the writ was dropped, Mr. Martin flew to Washington for a White House meeting with President George W. Bush. As the leaders shook hands, a senior Bush administration official turned to a Canadian counterpart and asked what the Martin government planned to use as a campaign theme.

The response: "The other side is evil."

This isn't suprising, just sad.
