Yes, I've been absent for most of this week It's been busy with stuff at the office, a bout of illness and errands to run. Moreover, a large order from Amazon arrived, keeping me from posting in the evenings

I tend to wishlist everything I want and order it all at once to save on shipping, which is pretty costly for international orders. But when things finally get here it's like Christmas - including the increase in my credit card bill.

This order was:

DVD's - Joss Whedon's Firefly, David Breashears' Everest, a couple of seasons of Buffy, Bubba Ho-Tep, a collection by the Pixies (who are, sadly, not playing Singapore or even nearby OZ on their reunion tour) and The Princess Bride.

Books - Bookreev's The Climb: Tragic Ambitions on Everest and an Aconcagua climbing guide (I'm aiming for an attempt in 2006).

CDs - Strummer's Global a Go-go, the first two Distillers albums and an album by Lisa Marr's Buck (all of which are pretty damn hard to find locally or suffer from a ridiculous markup as import items).

So, yeah, I've been distracted.
