LECTURE-HALL CAMERAS

I earlier mentioned that I wasn't too bothered by the latest round of government surveillance measures. Despite Hicky's concern about cameras in the classroom. Well, I'm right. Cameras in lecture halls shouldn't make a difference - lecturers are already legally prevented from criticizing the government:
An expat political science professor told us that his employment contract explicitly states he is not supposed to discuss Singapore politics during his course of teaching here. A load of bullshit by the draconian control freak we call government.
See, why be concerned by cameras? It's not like they would intrude on protected speech. Lecturers were already bound by contract.
